The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur in 1899 in memory to his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar. It was built out of intricately carved sheets of extremely thin marble. The marble is polished so that it emits a warm glow when illuminated by the Sun.
