Landscape format, close up photograph of the door and door knocker to l'hôtel de Sales in Annecy, France. Built over two years at the end of the 17th century, Hôtel de Sales , located on rue du Pâquier (now in the old town), once welcomed nobles of the House of Savoy. Soon after it became a residence for the various Princes of Savoy, leading to the building becoming the headquarters of the Bank of Savoy, which was empowered to create money.
