Vintage Jodhpur

Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace, and now a museum. Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city of Jodhpur.

The city was formerly the seat of the princely state of Jodhpur and historically the capital of the Kingdom of Marwar, which is now part of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts, and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert.
